It is always important to “begin with the end in mind.” While this introductory course covers the core foundation of this program, it is important to understand what the entire process entails.

Steps in the Team Purpose to Performance Journey

The journey is divided out into four major parts. These parts are interrelated. They will integrate new insights or other changes to align on the Team Purpose to Performance strategy. The following is an overview of the parts:

  1. Purpose: Core Foundation for the Work, Create Team Alignment
    Focuses on the question, “What will make us proud?”
  2. Paradoxes & Problem Statements: Uncover and Resolve Conflict
    What are the core 3 to 5 paradoxes/problems we must address in order to make progress towards our purpose? What will make us proud?
  3. Create the Game Plan: Synthesize and Plan Execution
    What are the outcome/results required to address our core paradoxes/tensions?
  4. Follow Through: Create the Structure to Support the Game Plan
    What will get us from “here” (current state) to “there” (future state) outcomes?
